Meanwhile, if Kentucky was riding high off their takedown of E. Michigan, that ride came to an abrupt end. The Wildcats came up short against Florida, falling Kentucky was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Florida apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played, back in Sept.
State found themselves the reluctant recipients of a vexing punch to the gut against Kentucky when the two teams met last season.
