Originally installed as an offensive lineman and then a tailback, the future SEC Player of the Year and Heisman Trophy finalist learned everything there was about the game. He would eventually lead his team to three straight state championships and was named as the North Carolina High School Player of the Year. The history, legacy, and aura of the University of Tennessee, coupled with its wide-open offensive style, were too attractive to pass up. He ended his career owning nearly every passing record in school history. Injuries derailed his pro football career, but Shuler has never been one to dwell on the negative.
My second goal is to be the best football player, teammate and leader that I can be.
Not only because I love the sport of football but also because this sport teaches me how to be a better person. It has always been my goal to play college football in any position that would help my team be successful.
I am a team player who always puts winning as a team first.
I see myself being an impact player on the field as a Running Back, Slot Receiver, and returning kicks on special teams. I am a quiet leader that leads by example which influences my teammates to follow my lead.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my determination and work ethic. I feel that I can outwork anyone on the field or classroom.
I feel that playing football year round and also playing multiple sports wrestling and track has helped me develop as an elite athlete. Thank you for reviewing my NCSA profile which includes my game film, athletic and academic history.
If I am considered as a potential recruit for your College or University, please follow me so we can stay in touch in the future.
